If you've not sought out premarital education for you & your honey, listen up! As of September 2008, the state of Texas passed a new law that waives the $60 marriage license fee & 72-hour waiting period to all couples to complete an approved premarital education course. Our state has a new project called "Twogether in Texas" which coordinates free premarital workshops. To find out the nearest Twogether in Texas approved workshop, call 211. You can also log on to www.twogetherintexas.com for more information.
